Are You Getting Traffic Hits to Your Blogs or Website?



How to get website traffic to your website or blog is really important question!

Well its almost the end of January 2010 so have you done any SEO optimization on your blogs or online websites? I bet the answer is NO? Well you are missing out on potential traffic and hits which could turn in to sales!

I do all my own SEO for my main website which is called Decorative living that has Google rank 3 also I have this blog which is Google rank 4 and my other business is also Google rank 2.

So what do you need to do a good question?

1: Check your Meta tags are they up to date For example my keyword is get website traffic!

2: Check your Meta description is this up to date and is it relevant i.e. has it got keywords in place.

There has been many articles on this subject for example Google does not really take your keywords in to account I think they do so it is very important to get this right.

3: Backlinks: This is a very important to give weight to your blog or website BUT be careful when requesting a link back as the major search engines will check both ways of the links for relevance also page rank try and link to relevant sites on what you are offering or writing about. Nother good tip submit your website to quality business directories they can be a great help to you with quality links to your site!


4: Again very important to get this right for example my main website decorative living sells unique gift ideas for women so do you the link that is keyword anchor text here is a tip try and place five keywords within your body text again be careful were you place the keywords do not go over seven words as you could be barred for spamming with the search engines. So by following these simple tips you should get website traffic to your blogs and websites good luck.
